EuroVelo 3 startet in Dänemark in Frederikshavn, das Sie mit einer Fähre aus Schweden erreichen können, und folgt der alten Ochsenstraße durch Jütland bis zur deutschen Grenze in Padborg.

Die Ochsenstraße existiert seit der Antike. Der Weg dorthin erinnert Sie an die Geschichte Dänemarks. Die Stadt Viborg ist die größte Stadt auf dem Weg, und dort können Sie viele Kirchen und mittelalterliche Straßen besuchen. Die Ochsenstraße ist Teil des Camino de Santiago. Es gibt günstige Unterkünfte, in denen man unterwegs übernachten kann.

  • Developed + Not Signed These sections offer generally good cycling conditions, with limited motorised traffic and rideable surfaces, but without EuroVelo signs. Developed routes without signs are suitable for most cyclists. However, short stretches with lower-quality conditions may occur, and it is warmly recommended to bring a map or navigation app.
  • Partially Developed + Signed Cycling is possible here, but conditions vary. Some stretches may have high motorised traffic or poor surfaces, even though EuroVelo signs are in place. Partially developed routes with signs are suitable for experienced cyclists only, and it is recommended to bring a map or navigation app and check national/regional websites for more information. ECF and National EuroVelo Coordination Centres are working on improvements.

Nationales EuroVelo-Koordinierungszentrum

Dänischer Radtourismus ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein aus öffentlichen und privaten Partnern, dessen Hauptziel die Förderung des Radtourismus in Dänemark ist. Seit 2016 ist Dänischer Radtourismus das nationale EuroVelo-Koordinationszentrum für Dänemark. Ab 2023 ist Dänischer Radtourismus auch verantwortlich für die offizielle Webseite der nationalen Radrouten sowie der EuroVelo-Routen in Dänemark.
